William I. "Bill" Miller, age 54, of Norman, passed away unexpectedly at 8:09 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Schneck Medical Center. Bill was born on January 19, 1970, in Seymour, IN, to William I. Miller, Sr. & Joyce Koster Miller. He was a 1988 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. Bill was honorably discharged from the US Marines, and he received the Leatherneck Award during his basic training. He was a very skilled marksman. He was affiliated with Kurtz Nazarene Church. Bill was a pipe layer for 30 years and was a member of the Labor's Union. He was currently self-employed and was a farm hand for Trevor Singer. Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, deer hunting, mushroom hunting, gardening, and searching for arrowheads/rocks. On February 10, 2009, in Kurtz, Bill married April Ault and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Joyce; children: Brooke (Blake) Dye, Kennedie Miller, Gunner Miller, William "Jr." Miller, Faith Ault (Zach), Charlie Ault, Leighton (Chloe) Rose, Landon (Ashley) Rose; brother, Zach Miller; sisters: Debi (Joe) Basham, Lori Ann (Buddy) Sawyer, Karen (John) Hinton, Katrina (Dane) Norris; grandchildren: Ava, Sophia, Parker, Carver, Jaxson, & Braelyn. Bill was preceded in death by his father; son, William Levi Miller; sister, Pamela Chadwell; & a brother, John Soladine. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home, with Floyd Fisher officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery and military graveside rites will be conducted.
