Virginia E. Boling, 86, of Medora, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her home. She had been ill for 2 years. Virginia was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church in Brownstown. She worked for H.O. Canfields and was a homemaker. She enjoyed making crafts, doing puzzles, and working in her flowers. Virginia was born on February 13, 1934 to the late Lester T. & Agnes Ann Sovern Foster. She married Alfred Lee Boling on January 3, 1967 and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2019. Other survivors include her children, Lori & John Journell of Ohio, Rick & Kitty Foster of Medora, and Pam Delph of Seymour; grandchildren, Josh & Jacob Little, Betsy Foster, Keith Robbins, Holly Johnson & Jody Steinkamp; several great & great great grandchildren; & a brother, George Foster of Virginia. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers—Bill & Gene Foster, sisters—Mary Kozik & Irene Cole, and a grandson—Travis Foster. A private family graveside service will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery with Steve Muster officiating.
