Stephanie R. (Stilwell) Krieger, 48, of Brownstown, passed away at 11:15 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Hoosier Christian Village. She had been ill for 5 years. Stephanie was born on January 13, 1976, in Seymour, IN, to Richard E. & Peggy (Perry) Stilwell, both of Freetown, IN. She was a 1994 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Jonesville Christian Church. Stephanie was very passionate about cooking and crafting. She was a "take charge" kind of person. Her life was spent loving and raising her children and was very involved in every aspect of their lives. Stephanie is survived by her parents, Richard & Peggy; her children: Cade Elijah Krieger of Columbus, Seth Avery Krieger of Greensburg, & Addyson Claire Krieger of Ft. Wayne; brother, Matthew Stilwell of Freetown; nephews: Wyatt & Sawyer Stilwell; grandmother, Edna Marlene Perry; & several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Perry and grandparents Earl & Dorothy Stilwell. A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
