Shirley J. Rawlins, 83, of Seymour, died at 4:21 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Seymour Crossing. She was born on October 12, 1937 in Seymour, IN to the late Robert & Maud Collins Abner. Shirley was homemaker and lived a very simple life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Walter) Bowman of Brownstown & Maxine Compton of Scottsburg; a brother, Dennis Abner of North Vernon; granddaughters, Chasity (Greg) Hubbard of Austin & Nicole (Rusty) Reynolds of Crothersville; great-grandchildren, Alexus Bowman, Bryce Bowman, Gracie Reynolds, & Gauge Hubbard. Friends may visit with the family at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Memorial contributions may be given to Breast Cancer Awareness.
