Ruth Foster, 92, of Vallonia, died at 10:05 p.m. on June 23, 2021, at Bay Breeze Nursing Home, Gulf Breeze, FL. She was born on December 22, 1928, in Brownstown, IN to the late Tom & Martha (Mattie) Harris Wheeler. She married Harold Eugene Foster on August 24, 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2013. Ruth was retired from the Medora Plastic Factory. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and working crossword puzzles. Ruth is survived by 2 children, Diane Scott & Gary Foster, 13 grandchildren & several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clifford, Herbert, Clarence, Daniel, Paul, & Jimmy; and sisters, Lucy, Eva, Alfretta, Omega, & Betty. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Vallonia Cemetery with Jerry Wheeler officiating.
