Robin Lynn Wheeler, 57, of Vallonia, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center. She had been ill for 17 years. She attended Medora Christian Church . She had been employed with Spartans, a security guard with Pinkerton, and had been Town Clerk of Medora for 4 years. She was a 1977 graduate of Medora High School. She was a huge collector of anything Coca-Cola, Mickey Mouse/Disney, Angels and Elvis. She was born October 13, 1959 in Seymour to Robert Wayne Wheeler, who preceded her in death in 2007, and Shirley Moore Wheeler, who survives in Vallonia. She had been a lifelong resident of Jackson County. She married Kenneth Ray Wheeler on October 5, 1979 in Medora and he survives. Other survivors include 2 children, Stephanie Jo Wheeler of Commiskey and Benjamin Christopher (Jessica) Wheeler of Lebanon, IN; 2 brothers, Darrell Allen (Carol) Wheeler of Seymour and Jackie Myron Wheeler of Vallonia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Jerry Wheeler and Greg Underwood officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, April 18th from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Vallonia Cemetery.
