Rita J. Lonsberry Sears, 70, of Vallonia, died at 4:14 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Rita was of the Christian Faith. She worked for General Motors for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren travelling and attending many baseball, basketball and volleyball games. Rita was born on September 13, 1948 in Seymour to the late Hershel and Norma Robison Lonsberry. Survivors include her daughters, Stacie Johnson of Vallonia and Shannon (Kenny) Flynn of Springville; a sister Jerry Kay (Tom) Starr of Medora; grandchildren, Shanace, Shiann and Dylan Johnson, Kameron and Kailen Flynn; great grandchildren, Brantley Johnson & Ryker Love; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a brother, Gary Wayne Lonsberry preceded her in death. Following the wishes of Rita, there will be on visitation or service.
