Ralph Frank Wolka, Sr., 92, of Vallonia, peacefully went to be with his Lord at 1:16 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Ralph was born on August 18, 1933, in Vallonia, to the late Ralph & Marietta (Meahl) Wolka. He attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from Brownstown High School.

Ralph married Violetta V. (Fee) Wolka on August 24, 1952, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia.

Ralph was a turkey farmer and worked at Hardig Industries in Walesboro and later was a parts man at Cordes Hardware in Seymour. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children: Frank (Lana) Wolka, Jr., Debbie (Jim) Helwig, & Pattie Lubker, all of Vallonia; grandchildren: Clint (Ashley) Wolka, Cody (April) Wolka, Matt (Bethany) Helwig, Tricia McPherson, & Lindsey (Matt) Montgomery; great grandchildren: Waylon Wolka, Ridge Wolka, Cooper Wolka, Drake Wolka, Teighan Wolka, Heidi Helwig, Zachary Helwig, Carmen Helwig, Mae Helwig, Noe McPherson, Nohea McPherson, Leilani McPherson, Malia McPherson, & Ellie Mae Montgomery.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three sisters: Carrie Mae Kinder, Hilda Lange, & Alta Barnett.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia with Pastor Jordan McKinley officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
