He had been ill for 1 year. He was in the National Guard for 6 years. He had been employed with the Medora Brick Plant. Mr. Raby enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was born March 19, 1944 to the late Jerry M. Raby and Hazel Williams Raby. He is survived by 3 children, Paula (Roy) Helton, Mike Raby, and Jerica Raby all of Medora; 2 grandsons, Jordan & Jared Helton and 2 great grandchildren, Addy & Emory Helton; and one sister, Gladys Raby of Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Millard, Charlie & John Raby and one sister, Helen Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 24th at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Friends may call Monday, March 23rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 10 until time of service. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery.
