She had been ill for about 5 years. She was a member of the Brownstown United Methodist Church. She loved to garden, collect rocks and paper weights, and enjoyed bluebirds. She was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School. Patti was born on May 11, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dale K. & Betty Gene Reid Sparks. She is survived by her son Casey Bridgewater of Florida; 2 brothers, Michael (Sarah) Sparks and John (Connie) Sparks both of Brownstown; a sister, Sue Ann (David) Schepman of Paris Crossing; 2 grandsons, Chandler & Blaine Bridgewater of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday, November 14th at 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Sanders officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will take place at a later date at the Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Mitchell. Memorials may be given to the Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center.
