Patricia Ann (Hauer) Shepard, 84, of Brownstown, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Vallonia, IN on September 19, 1937, to the late Tilford A. & Lillian (Graham) Hauer. On February 5, 1956, in Vallonia, she married George Dale Shepard. Patricia was a member of the Brownstown Christian Church. She was a bookkeeper at Kieffer Papermill and the Medora Brick Plant. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, George Dale Shepard; 2 brothers, Kenneth (Beth) Hauer & Steve (Peggy) Hauer; daughter-in-law, Maria Shepard; 4 grandsons: Jacob (Caitlin) Shepard, Daniel (Alisha) Shepard, David (Nicole) Shepard, & Trevor Ballard; granddaughter Elizabeth Shepard; 4 great grandsons; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; 7 brothers: Carl, Melvin, Keith, Tilford Jr., Richard, Michael, and Rick Hauer; son Alan Shepard; daughter Gina Ballard; and son-in-law Brent Ballard. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Doug Pogue officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
