He had been ill for 4 months. He was affiliated with the Vallonia Christian Church. He was retired from the Indiana State Highway Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Mr. Nantz was born on March 11, 1956 in Wyandot, Michigan to James Nantz who died in 1986 and Delorice Dobb Nantz Perry and she lives in Brownstown. Other survivors include his girlfriend, Connie Dingess; 2 children, Stacey Mae Quebbleman of Austin and Todd Matthew Nantz of Crothersville; 7 grandchildren; one brother, Sonny James Nantz of Seymour. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Dellia Faye Nantz who passed away in August 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 4th at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
