Mildred Elizabeth Humphrey, 80, of Vallonia, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. at her home. She had been ill for 3 years. She was a member of the Vallonia Christian Church. She was retired form Excello Shirt Factory. She was a graduate of Vallonia High School. She was born January 30, 1934 in Vallonia to the late Virgil and Elizabeth Achelpohl Humphrey. Survivors include 1 sister, Audra Humphrey of Vallonia. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Gilbert, Don & Leon Humphrey and one sister, Alice May Humphrey. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call from noon Sunday until service time. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Vallonia Christian Church, Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center or the American Heart Association. Mildred's constant companion was her sister Audra--where you saw one you the saw the other. She also had a love for IU Basketball.
