Merry K. Sindlinger Stoner, 69, of Vallonia, died January 25, 2013 at 4:10 p.m. at the Columbus Regional Hospital. She had been ill for 4 months. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1963 and then attended Butler University. She retired in 1993 from Job Corps as a Recruiter. She loved raising orchids and tomatoes, was an avid reader and loved to travel. She was also a very beloved sister and will be missed. Ms. Stoner was born on October 12, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Paul W. & Lucille Powell Sindlinger. She moved to Jackson County in 2004. She is survived by her son, Paul W. Stoner of Vallonia; a sister, Paula L. Sindlinger of Lake Worth, FL; and her companion of 28 years, Mark Spurgeon of Vallonia. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Michael Hogg on Saturday, February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Friends may call from 1 til service time on Saturday.
