Mary Rosalyn Nolting Lanham, 84, of Tucson, AZ, died March 2nd, 2013 at Pueblo Springs Rehab. She had been ill for 2 months. She was a member of the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Lanham was born June 26, 1928 in Columbus, IN to the late Marcus & Elsie Nolting. She married Willis Bolte on Feb. 14, 1948, Paul Mellencamp on Jan. 8, 1950, and then James Lanham in Aug. of 1968. All of her husbands preceded her in death. Survivors include 2 sons, Rex (Marianne) Mellencamp of Vallonia and Ross (Ann) Mellencamp of Tucson, AZ; 3 step-children, James (Carolyn) Lanham of Franklin, KY, David (Gail) Lanham of Tucson, AZ and George Lanham of Seymour; 1 brother, Marcus Nolting of Columbus, IN; 1 sister, Carol (Kenneth) Kiel of Columbus, IN; and 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6th at the Jonesville Lutheran Cemetery.
