He was a member of Our Lady of Providence in Brownstown. He was a retired Home Health Care Nurse. He graduated from John Bosco Catholic High School and got his nursing degree from Long Beach City College. Mr. Bujwid enjoyed writing, reading, spending time with his dogs, fishing, watching cooking shows, and talking to and spending time with his 3 sons and his grandchildren. He was born on September 18, 1954 in Montreal, Canada to the late Joseph Bujwid and Francine VanGroetel Bujwid. He moved to Jackson County in 1990. On October 4, 1986 he married Rebecca L. Kinworthy in Long Beach, CA and she survives in Crothersville. He is also survived by 3 sons, Eric (Pamela) Mammen of Lake Forrest, CA, Phillip (Tiffany) Mammen of Corona, CA, and Damien (Rochelle) Bujwid of Kerman, CA; a brother, Richard (Ursula) Bujwid of Wyoming; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Avery, Nathaniel, Alexa, Callum, Damien Jr., and Max; best friend, Ron McFarland. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Rosary Service will be conducted by Father Daniel Staublin at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 5th at Our Lady of Providence in Brownstown.
