Lois Louise Burcham, 80, of Brownstown and formerly of Vallonia died on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2:00am at Hoosier Christian Village. She had been ill for two weeks. She was born on May 18, 1934 in Scott County, Indiana the daughter of Harold and Faye Moody Peugh. On April 3, 1976 in Jackson County, Indiana she married Donal Jack Burcham, he preceded her in death on September 22, 1998. Mrs. Burcham graduated from Aurora and was a member of Seymour Christian Church and the American Legion in Seymour. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed the Guitar, singing, playing Bingo, Crafts, and sewing. Survivors include her children: Cristi (Rick) Bannister of Brownstown and Martin Morgan of Scott County, Indiana; Brother: Basil Peugh of Florida; Grandchildren: Jake and Amanda Axsom, Jessica Morgan, Brandon and Kevin Morgan, Kara and Hollie Bannister; Great Grandchildren: Lexi, Parker, and Raelynn Hedrick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son: Mike Morgan; and an infant sister. Visitation will be on Monday, December 29th from 10am-1pm at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday at 1pm at Johnson Funeral Home with Terry Fordice officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Eden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hoosier Christian Village.
