Obituary

Linda Lou Davidson, 75, of Bedford and formerly of Medora, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 7, 1945 in Seymour, IN to the late Woodrow & Louella Fields Henderson. On December 1, 1967 she married Ralph Davidson and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1995. She had worked for Hooks in Seymour, Medora Plastic Factory & Randy's Market. Linda was a member of the New Hope Community Church, was a Girl Scout leader for 12+ years and apart of the House to House Club. She loved to be with her family and friends, enjoyed bird watching, riding on golf cart and "deer hunting", camping, & watching game show network. Linda's survivors include her 3 children, Michelle (Lonnie) Dotts-McCool, Doug (Cassie) Davidson & Shannon Davidson; grandchildren, Fletcher, Jacob & Becky Davidson, Abby Bernard, Raven Farmer, Brandon, Brittany, Dylan, Kaitlyn, & Danielle Davidson, Mercedez & Dalton Wood, Alison McCool-Smith, Zachary McCool, Nathan & Hannah Dotts; great grandchildren, Phoebe Greathouse, Aiden & Cason Davidson, & William Dotts; brothers, Ronald & John Henderson & Homer Fields; sisters, Janice Wright, Bonnie Wetzel, Patricia Henderson & Mary Auffenberg. Funeral services for Linda will be conducted by Donnie Sanders at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the New Hope Community Church in Bedford with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Friends may also visit with the family on Friday, June 19th at Johnson Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Weddleville Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to New Hope Community Church or the American Kidney Association. Johnson Funeral Home will be practicing social distancing according to the CDC guidelines and masks are encouraged to be worn during your visit to the funeral home and the church.
