Larry Gene Scrogham, 62, of Columbus, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, December 05, 2015 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. He had been ill for about a year and half. He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Cosco and had also worked at Bradford Soap. He lived and loved the country life. Mr. Scrogham was born August 15, 1953 in Columbus to Everett L. Scrogham and Rae Gene Robertson Scrogham and they both live in Medora. Other survivors include 4 children, Patricia Scrogham of Columbus, Amy Scrogham of Louisville, KY, Troy Scrogham of Columbus and Robert Scrogham of Columbus; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Terry Scrogham; 4 sisters, Stacie Madden of Freetown, Sharon Thompson of Edinburgh, Beverly Moore of Brown County and Donna Lee of Medora. One granddaughter, Shelby Boggs, preceded him in death. There will be a memorial service for Larry at a later date. Memorials may be given to Diabetes Foundation or to the Stonebridge Health Campus.
