Katheryn Louise Tolliver, 74, of Vallonia went home to be with Our Lord at 11:43 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013. She died at Schneck Medical Center. She was a member of Full Gospel Outreach Center in Salem, IN. She was co-owner of Tolliver's Hunting and Fishing Supplies in Millport with her son Eugene Tolliver. She was born on September 13, 1938 in Jenkins, KY to Wiley M. Cooper and Viola Mae Justice-Cooper who both preceded her in death. At the age of 9 she moved to Salem, IN. On June 5, 1955 in Seymour she married J.S. Tolliver and died May 11, 1981. Survivors include 3 children; James Eugene Tolliver of Vallonia, Sharan (Jeff) Hattabaugh of Seymour, and Rev. Michael (Lisa) Tolliver of Salem; a daughter-in-law Cheryl Tolliver of South Pittsburg, TN; 4 brothers, Ray Cooper, Ronnie (Mary) Cooper and Gary (Kay) Cooper all of Salem and Joe (Peggy) Cooper of Kingsport, TN; 6 grandchildren, Amberly, Anthony, Joshua, Shanene, Caleb and Seth; 4 great grandchildren, Grace, Chloe, Wyatt and Isaiah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Emanuel Tolliver. She had a deep love for her family and her church. She loved to sing, attend church, spend time with family and chat with friends at the shop. Katheryn was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Tolliver officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. til service time on Wednesday. Burial will take place in the Winslow Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Full Gospel Outreach Center.
