Jeffrey Allen Hehman, 68, of Brownstown, passed away at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his home. He had been ill for 1 month. Jeff was born on April 13, 1956, in Salem, IN to the late Robert "Bob" & Juanita "Joan" (Royse) Hehman. He was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School. Jeff drove a truck for 30+ years with the last 14 of those years with Rose Acres. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, racing, football, basketball, bowling, & driving a semi. On December 5, 1976, at Tampico Baptist Church, Jeff married Cassandra "Sandy" (Hall) Hehman and she survives in Brownstown. Other survivors include his children: Jason (Carla) Hehman of Brownstown, Jasmine Hehman of Brownstown, & Jamison (Amy) Benton of Seymour; a brother, Roger (Peggy) Hehman of Brownstown; grandchildren: Adrianna (Austin) Bowles, Ethan Hehman, Landon Hehman, Brycelyn (Wes) Pottschmidt, Carl Ruddick, Peyton Henry, Reese Henry, Elijah Hehman, Xander Burton, and Baby Benton; great grandchildren: Millie Bowles, Lynnleigh Bowles, Mackey Bowles, Ella Hehman, Brielle Hehman, Addilyn Pottschmidt, and Grayson Flemming. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Jack Hehman; mother-in-law, Bonnie Norton; and sister-in-law, Annette Reynolds. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Gary Bradley officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 19th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 12:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery.
