Jean Ann Crees Berry, 40, of Medora died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Brownstown. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Brownstown and also attended the Brownstown United Methodist Church and Driftwood Christian Church in Vallonia. She graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1992 and then received a Bachelor's in Nursing from IU Southeast in 1996. She had been a nurse at Schneck Medical Center and for Home Health. Jean Ann was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She enjoyed being a nurse and caring for others, being with family and friends, riding motorcycles, and spending time with the love of her life--George. She was born on October 18, 1973 in Henderson, KY to Leroy and Velma Ehlers Crees and they survive in Brownstown. She married George Berry on July 4, 2003 in Brownstown and he survives in Medora. Other survivors include 2 children, Holly Berry of Seymour and Jon Berry of Medora and 2 step children, Michael (Trey) Berry of Brownstown and Steven Berry of Greenwood; 1 sister, Mary Jo Franklin of Greenwood; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with Raymond Spicer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, May 21st from 4-8 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. til service time Thursday. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery.
