Irene Cole, 92, of Seymour, died at 1:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was a graduate of Vallonia High School and a member of Vallonia Christian Church. Irene was once employed with RCA in Bloomington. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, reading and putting puzzles together. She was born on January 12, 1927 in Tipton County, IN to the late Lester T. Foster & Agnes Ann Soverns Foster. On November 7, 1959 in California, she married Paul Wayne Cole and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1983. Survivors include a brother, George Foster of Virginia; a sister, Virginia Boling of Medora; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Eugene & Perry "Bill" Foster and a sister, Mary Kozik. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 28th at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time.
