She was a Homemaker. She was born on July 16, 1919 in Carthage, Indiana to the late Earl & Nellie McGee Andis. She married Fred Higbee on October 10, 1939 and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Melvin Higbee of Florida, Sue Harris of Seattle, Washington and Judy Carter of Arizona; brother, Richard Andis; 2 sisters, Betty Ervin and Jean Tillison; a daughter-in-law, Grace Ray; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5 at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call from 10 until time of service at the funeral home.
