Earl "Buck" Newby, 62, of Campbellsburg, died at 2:46 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital after a 6 year illness. Buck was born on October 9, 1957 to the late Thomas & Martha Alice Wheeler Newby. He had worked as a logger with Ault Sawmill, Bowers Sawmill, and Ralph & Whistle Underwood Sawmill. His survivors include his companion, Regina "Shorty" Harvey; son, Michael Newby; brother, Fred Vance Newby; a sister, Charlotte Red Russel; and 2 nephews.
