David Lewis Sims II, 58, of Medora, died unexpectedly at 5:15 a.m. on March 15, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He had worked for Administar in Indianapolis and then with Aisin in Seymour. David loved the Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed watching the races. He was born on September 13, 1960 in Indianapolis to the late David Lewis Sims & Peggy Smith Sims Harbour. On September 6, 1994 in Louisville, KY he married Pamela Abner Sims and she resides in Medora. Other survivors include children, David Lewis Sims III, Sabrina (Bo) Sanders, Adam (Brandi) Sims, & Jason (Marie) Weddell; grandchildren, Megan Weddell, JaeShawn Weddell, Aubrey Sanders, Joshua Kelley, Jason Weddell Jr., David Lewis Sims IV & Emmett Sims; great grandchildren, Delilah Goens & Gordan (Emoji) Weddell; brothers, Ronnie, Matt, Michael, Kenneth & Paul Sims, Sparky Kessler; sisters, Peggy Murray & Teresa Hoeppner. David was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, James Kessler, Steve & John McCabe, and 2 sons, Johnny Ray & Jimmy Sims.
