Brian Lee "Freebird" Freeman, 55, of Vallonia, passed away on January 15, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Brian was born on September 25, 1969, in Seymour to Brenda Sue Freeman Anderson and she survives in Vallonia. Brian was a 1987 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. He also pursued his education at Vincennes University and studied Law Enforcement. He was a dedicated farmhand for Bobby Brewer and worked as a carpenter for many years.

Along with his mother, other survivors include 2 stepbrothers: Eric & Jeff Phillips. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph & Marjorie Freeman and a stepsister, Tabitha Brock.

If you knew Brian, you loved him. He was a friend to many and never met a stranger. He loved 70's & 80's music & hunting arrowheads. His favorite weekend of the year was Ft. Vallonia Days. He will always be remembered with a beer in his hand, a smile on his face, and a goofy hat on his head. Brian will be truly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral services for Brian will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home, with Michael Hogg officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Memorial contributions may be given to Johnson Funeral Home.
