Brenda Ingrum Collett, 66, of Medora, passed on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 10:12am at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. She had been ill for 3 �_ years. She was born on February 5, 1948 in Seymour the daughter of Paul Ingrum and Mildred (Olmstead) Smith. She lived most of her life in Kentucky. She was married to Bernard Collett and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2002. She loved going to church, loved her animals, and going for rides in the country. She was a member of Red Bird Trinity Pentecostal Church in Kentucky. Survivors include: four step children: Duane Brock, Darrell Brock, Gail Brock Akers, and Susie Brock Lewis; Several Step Grandchildren; one brother: Alfred Boling of Medora; two sisters: Mary Bowers of Brownstown and Jennie Wayman of Medora; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Archie Boling Jr and Ray Boling; one sister: Barbara Boling; and one nephew: Dempsy Boling. Visitation will be conducted at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 4-8pm and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 with John Bowling officiating. Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hoosier Christian Village Activity Department.
