Bonnie Singer, age 89, of Vallonia, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Singer worked at Medora State Bank for more than 50 years, serving in several roles, including Vice President. She also worked alongside her son on the family farm. Bonnie had a passion and love for her dogs and cats.

Born on June 30, 1936, in Washington County, Bonnie was the daughter of Ernst and Ruby (Williams) Brewer, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Robert Lee Singer, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Mark Singer; and a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Brewer.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Eph Brock.

Visitation for Bonnie Singer will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia.

Interment will follow at Vallonia Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
