Bonnie Jean (Henderson) Wetzel, 75, of Medora, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 4, 1947, in Seymour, to the late Woodrow & Luella (Fields) Henderson. On December 7, 1970, Bonnie married Marvin Walter Wetzel and he survives in Medora. Bonnie was a 1965 graduate of Medora High School. She was a member of New Hope Community Church, Bedford. She worked at the Dairy Bar and was a homemaker. She was also a member of the House to House Club. Bonnie enjoyed reading, working puzzles, going for long rides, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children: Jennifer (LD) Martin, Jeremy (Jessica) Wetzel, & Julie (Adam) Clines; step-daughters: Margie (Gary) Day, Iris (John) Fisher, & Felicia (Chris) Mullins; grandchildren: Chole (Ryan) Kaiser, Corey Martin, Dakota (Taylor) Wetzel, Savanna (Sam) Wetzel, Tyler Wetzel, Josie Young, & Jake Clines; several step-grandchildren & step great grandchildren; brothers: Ron (Becky) Henderson, John Henderson, & Homer Fields; sisters: Mary (Rick) Auffenburg & Janice (Randy) Wright; several nieces & nephews; & several great nieces & nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Linda Davidson & Patty Henderson; brother-in-law's: Ralph Davidson & Dale Murphin. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia, with Bob Persinger officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22nd and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
