Anita Mae Trowbridge McMillan, 97, of Vallonia, died November 9, 2015 at 1:43 a.m. at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. She was a faithful member of Vallonia Christian Church. She was homemaker. She was born October 24, 1918 in Vallonia to the late Harrison Waskom Trowbridge and Nellie Weddell Trowbridge. She married Victor B. McMillan on May 11, 1941 in Vallonia and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2000. Survivors include 3 children, Jean (Siles) Hall of Scottsburg, Sarah (John) Durham of Sullivan, and Charles McMillan of Bloomington; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant brother Lloyd Lowell Trowbridge, a brother Jack Trowbridge, 2 sisters, Ruth Hotchkiss and Janette Spray. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Chris Criminger officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the Vallonia Cemetery.
